I am PhD Eng of Chemistry who defended in 2019. My main research areas during doctorate were analytical chemistry and metabolomics. I have conducted interdisciplinary research combining chemistry, microbiology and medicine. The main targets of interest were volatile/semivolatile metabolites and biomarkers from biological matrices obtained by using GC-MS and protein patterns acquired by MALDI-TOF MS. Desired future directions and development: - investigation of biomarkers of rare metabolic and genomic diseases i.e. Alzheimer disease, cancer, peroxisomal disorders; - development of new biosensors for measurement of compounds of interest "on-line" from human body; - monitoring of paths of selected compounds metabolized by human system i.e. drugs or diseases indicators; - investigation of human cell metabolism
