As a senior assistant, I am actively involved in teaching, scientific, and professional activities at the Laboratory for Fermentation and Yeast Technology, Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology. My research focuses on alcoholic fermentation, yeast production and application technology, as well as the production and analysis of strong alcoholic beverages, with the aim of developing innovative recipes and products, and improving quality and product safety. I also work on the extraction of biologically active compounds and the assessment of their antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. I continuously participate in scientific research projects funded by the Croatian Science Foundation and expand my knowledge and skills by attending congresses, workshops, and seminars.
