Biography
Dr. Maria Luisa Mangoni is a Full Professor of Biochemistry at the Department of Biochemical Sciences, Sapienza University of Rome. She received her degree in Biology cum laude from Sapienza University of Rome and earned her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the same institution. Her primary research interest is the development and optimization of bioactive peptides derived from amphibian skin as potential new therapeutic agents.
