Prof. Dr. Dongyang Hou is an Associate Professor and Master/PhD Supervisor at the School of Geosciences and Info-Physics, Central South University, China. Before that, he was a lecturer at Shandong Normal University. He obtained a Ph.D. at China University of Mining and Technology. He is mainly engaged in spatiotemporal big data retrieval and mining and crowd intelligence updating, and has developed and open-sourced three large optical remote-sensing image retrieval data sets/scene classification data sets, namely VGoogle, VBing, and VArcGIS. He also serves as a member of the Youth Work Committee of the Hunan Artificial Intelligence Society.
