Prof. Dr. Shoujiang Qu currently works as an Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Tongji University, Shanghai, China. He obtained his Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degrees in Materials Science from Harbin Institute of Technology. His research directions are 1. microstructural evolution mechanisms (recrystallization/phase transformation, dislocation deformation mechanisms) and mechanical property characterization (tensile/superplasticity, in situ tension/compression, fatigue performance, etc.) of TiAl and Ti2AlNb-based alloys during melting, isothermal forging, and rolling; 2. application of synchrotron radiation, neutron diffraction, three-dimensional atom probes, and first-principles methods to phase transformations in Ti2AlNb, TiAl-based alloys, and titanium alloys; 3. process optimization, microstructure, and mechanical property characterization for additive manufacturing of titanium-based alloys, Ti2AlNb, and TiAl-based alloys; and 4. fabrication, microstructure, and mechanical property evaluation of aluminum-based composites.
