Professor Marsh is Director of the Nottingham Geospatial Institute. He also teaches Environmental Engineers geology, hydrology, hydrogeology and environmental risk assessment. He represents the UK on the Programme Board of the Group on Earth Observations and sits on the Mission Advisory Group of the European Space Agency that is developing Sentinel 10, their hyperspectral satellite.
