Tanisa Patcharatrakul, M.D., M.Sc., graduated from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, and underwent fellowship training at the Division of Gastroenterology, Department of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. She was subsequently a post-doc fellow at Augusta University, Georgia, USA. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Center of Excellence in Neurogastroenterology and Motility, Chulalongkorn University and in the Division of Gastroenterology, King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital. She is also on the scientific committee of the Asian Neurogastroenterology and Motility Association and the Thai Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society. She has been actively involved in clinical research on functional GI disorders in particular constipation and anorectal disorders.
