Dr. Maria João Meneses holds a degree and MSc in Biomedical Sciences and a PhD in Mechanisms of Disease and Regenerative Medicine from NOVA Medical School (2021). Maria João’s research has been focused on improving the diagnosis and prognosis of metabolic-associated steatotic liver disease and diabetes.
