Nicolas Sluis-Cremer received his Ph.D. from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 1997 and a Postdoctoral from McGill University AIDS Center, Canada, in 2001. He is a Professor of Medicine, an Associate Chief of Research and Outreach, and a Director of Laboratory Research in the Division of Infectious Diseases. His research interests mainly focus on HIV, drug discovery, drug resistance, latency, and persistence.
