Theodoros Grigoratos received his Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, and PhD in Environmental Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2002, 2006, and 2012, respectively. He is a Researcher at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre. His research mainly focuses on vehicle emissions with expertise in non-exhaust emissions. He was responsible for the preparation of the first-ever regulation on brake particle emissions. He is also leading the Task Force on Tire Abrasion under the UN auspices.
