Biography
Dr. Katie Shanks received her Ph.D from the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus in Renewable Energy. She is currently a research fellow at the University of Exeter with expertise in optical modeling and solar concentrator design. She has been awarded an EPSRC David Clarke Research Fellowship to investigate advanced manufacturing methods for nanostructure optics and biomimcry.
