Christina Zeri, Chemist Oceanographer, Research Director at the Institute of Oceanography, Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR). Her main research interests include: marine pollution by microplastics, heavy metals, dissolved organic matter cycling and interactions between trace metals and organic matter. She has participated in numerous European and national research projects. She is active in research related to the implementation of the MSFD and WFD Directives and participates in the National Programme for the implementation of the Water Framework (WFD) and the Marine Strategy (MSFD) Directives in Greece. She coordinates D10 (Marine Litter) and participates in D8 (contaminants).
