Dr. Emilia Caputo is a Researcher at the Institute of Genetics and Biophysics, Italian National Research Council (CNR), Naples, Italy. She graduated from the University of Naples Federico II and obtained her Master's degree in Biological Sciences in 1996. In 2012, she received her Doctorate in Oncology at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Catania. Her research program focuses on cancer, by integrating broad disciplines centered on translational sciences. Her key research activities include charting and modeling molecular pathways for developing novel therapeutic strategies in melanoma treatment, exploring drug resistance in melanoma, cancer modeling for personalized medicine, and searching for potential anti-cancer agents.
