Dr. Tkáč Ján obtained his Master`s Degree and Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology, Slovak University of Technology. He currently works as a Senior Scientist at the Institute of Chemistry, Slovak Academy of Sciences, and is also the Co-founder of Glycanostics. His research interests mainly include Analytical Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Thin Films and Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Glycomics, Bioanalysis and Biomarker Discovery.
