Ricardo Ferraz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sport Sciences at the University of Beira Interior (Portugal) and an integrated researcher at the Research Centre in Sports, Health and Human Development (CIDESD). He holds a degree in Sport and Physical Education from the University of Porto and earned his Ph.D. in Sport Sciences at the University of Beira Interior, supported by a doctoral scholarship from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). He has authored and co-authored numerous scientific publications, including peer-reviewed journal articles indexed in the Web of Science, books, book chapters, and international conference proceedings
