Célia Cabral has a multidisciplinary scientific path and a publication track record in medicinal plants, natural drug leads, phytochemistry, non-communicable diseases, and plant-based health solutions. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra and an Invited Professor at the Universidade Lusófona, Lisbon. At FMUC, she created an independent research group focusing on the study of phytochemicals from natural origins, intending to develop plant-based health solutions: Plants4Health—Phytochemicals, Metabolism, and Disease, within CIBB/UC. After Scopus, I have 63 papers, 1740 citations, and h-index 22.
