Dr. Chi Lin’s research focuses on the molecular design and biomedical applications of polysaccharide-based biomaterials, nanomedicine, injectable hydrogels, and natural bioactive compounds. His work emphasizes the development of targeted drug delivery systems, immunomodulatory biomaterials, nitric oxide-supplying nanoplatforms, and disease-responsive therapeutic strategies for cardiovascular diseases, osteoarthritis, inflammation, and tissue repair. His published work spans biomedical materials, nanomedicine, and drug delivery, with representative studies involving fucoidan-based vascular nanotherapeutics, modified citrus pectin-derived Galectin-3-targeted biomaterials, thrombus-responsive imaging and therapeutic nanoplatforms, and multifunctional injectable hydrogels. His current research aims to integrate molecular recognition, pathological microenvironment responsiveness, and bioactive material design to develop next-generation nanodelivery systems and regenerative medicine platforms for precision biomedical applications.
