Ruyin Cao received the B.S. degree in resource science and engineering, and the Ph.D. degree in geography from Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China, in 2007 and 2013, respectively. From 2013 to 2015, he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow with the National Institute for Environmental Studies, Tsukuba, Japan. He is currently a Professor with the School of Resources and Environment, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China. His research interests include remote sensing image processing and vegetation parameter retrieval.
