Antonella D’Agostino graduated in Chemistry in 2000 at the University of Naples Federico II. She completed her PhD at The Department of Experimental Medicine, Second University of Naples (now University of Campania L.Vanvitelli) in “Biomedical Technology applied at Odontostomatology ”. She has been involved in many national projects and research assignments with industrial partners. She is author of 34 articles published in international journals, and of one patent, and is a referee for several international journals. Main fields of interest include biomaterials and natural polymers in general, and active principles derived from plants with biomedical, cosmeceutic, and nutraceutic applications, especially the study of their biological responses.
