Trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Bogotá, Colombia, with a subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine and Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology in Paris, France. Doctor of Philosophy at the Faculty of Medicine of Uppsala University in Sweden. Subsequently, postdoctoral research fellowships in New York and Paris, and since 2007 consultant and head of the Program for Fertility Preservation of Karolinska University Hospital. Consultant in the programs of Pre-Implantation Genetic Diagnosis, treatments with donor gametes, and consultant gynecologist endocrinologist, responsible for fertility preservation in children and in patients with genetic conditions. About Kenny’s research: A reproductive medicine specialist by training, her research focuses on how cancer treatments impact women’s reproductive health and the safety and efficacy of the procedures for fertility preservation. She has published extensively on reproductive medicine, assisted reproductive technologies, fertility preservation, obstetrical outcomes and risks, transgender reproductive issues, reproductive endocrinology, genetics and menopause.
