Prof. Dr. Huseyin Bilgin is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at EPOKA University. He earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Süleyman Demirel University and his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Pamukkale University, Türkiye. His research interests include structural analysis and design with emphasis on RC and masonry structures, earthquake-resistant design, nonlinear behavior, seismic damage assessment, repairing and retrofit, as well as the dynamic inelastic analysis of reinforced concrete buildings and bridges for seismic investigation. He has extensive experience in structural and civil engineering design and consultancy, and he has published widely on earthquake engineering and seismic performance assessment. Prof. Bilgin is a member of the TMMOB Chamber of Civil Engineers, serves on editorial boards of international journals, and has received scholarships from Pamukkale University, TÜBİTAK, and TIKA, along with EPOKA University’s Best Academician Award.
