Dr Li was born in China in 1983, he received his B.S. degree on chemistry from Nanjing University in 2005 and received his Ph.D. on inorganic chemistry from Nanjing University in 2010. He then worked at the Institute of Soil Science, served as assistant researcher and associate researcher. His research interests involve in horticulture science, especially in environmental control agriculture and protected cultivation. Current research is focused on root morphology, root exudate, the rhizosphere processes and the uptake and utilization of mineral nutrients by root under different nutrient supplies, CO2 concentrations, and root temperatures.
