Prof. Dorota Bartusik-Aebisher works at the University of Rzeszow in Poland and obtained a doctorate in organic chemistry at the Warsaw University of Technology. Her research focuses on the applications of MRI to cancer treatments. Her research interests are the applications of 19F MR to drug tracking and visualization of cancer tissue. She worked intensively on new drug delivery systems for ovarian cancer cells OVCAR-5 in cooperation with Harvard Medical School in Boston and The City University of New York (CUNY, NY, USA). She completed her Ph.D. at the Warsaw University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland. She obtained a habilitation degree in medical sciences in medical biology (Warsaw Medical University, Warsaw, Poland). She is coauthor of over 200 research papers and 12 books related to drug design and medical biology.
