He has experience in genetics, molecular biology, and bioinformatics, working mainly on the following topics: analysis of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, genome assembly and annotation, identification and characterization of DNA polymorphisms, molecular markers, scientometrics, and meta-analysis.
