Prof. Cho is interested in personalized drug therapy through metabolomics, pharmacometabolomics, and pharmacogenomics. She has been conducting more than 20 metabolomics studies for identifying novel metabolic biomarkers related to drug response and disease. Through collaboration with clinical and basic medical research teams, her research team is identifying new underlying mechanisms and discovering drug targets, ultimately leading to personalized drug therapy. Recently, her research team is actively conducting studies on metabolomics in the various fields of human diseases, cancer, and the microbiome.
