Prof. Katarzyna Kaczyńska is the Head of the Department of Respiration Physiology at Mossakowski Medical Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw, Poland. Her research interests include control of breathing, hypoxia, hypercapnia, apnea, altered breathing in Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease, asthma, inflammation, regulatory peptides.
