Claudia N. Sánchez holds a Ph.D. in Data Science from the INFOTEC Center for Research and Innovation in Information and Communication Technologies. Her doctoral research focused on evolutionary computing and machine learning. The Mexican Society of Artificial Intelligence recognized her doctoral thesis as the second-best doctoral thesis of the year 2020. She holds a master's degree in science from CIMAT (Center for Research in Mathematics), specializing in computer science and industrial mathematics Her master's thesis explored the field of image processing and pattern recognition, specifically analyzing color and satellite Images. She graduated with honors as a computer systems engineer from Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes. She serves as the Secretary of Research and Titular Research Professor at the Faculty of Engineering at Universidad Panamericana, Aguascalientes campus. She is deeply passionate about teaching. She is a member of the Mexican System of Researchers. She actively undertakes industry-focused research projects, some of which are registered with the Mexican Institute of Intellectual Property. Her research interests lie in artificial intelligence, particularly in the subfields of machine learning, evolutionary computing, data science, optimization, pattern recognition, and computer vision.
