Water scarcity is an alarming issue for humankind. To cope with this shortage, alternative measures should be employed in developing countries especially. I am devoting my Ph.D. goals and research in this field to desalinate seawater without mechanical input under sunlight to produce a high throughput yield of pure fresh water for drinking purposes to serve humankind. Right now, my research area belongs to a solar-driven evaporation system to generate pure fresh water and energy as well. Project "carbon-based materials for photothermal conversion based steam generation for seawater desalination and power generation" under the supervision of a well-renowned research group of Hubei University, Wuhan, China.
