Sungroul Kim received a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Environmental Health Science & Engineering, at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health (JHSPH), Baltimore, MD, U.S.A and completed the certificate program of ‘Risk Sciences and Public Policy’ at the JHSPH. He was a former research associate professor (2007~2009) at the Department of Epidemiology, JHSPH. Currently, he is teaching at the BK21 Department of Soonchunhyang University, Graduate School, Soonchunhyang University, South Korea. He has been a principal investigator of research projects establishing platforms for ICT-based air and health symptom monitoring among asthmatics funded by Korea environmental industry & technology institute, Ministry of Environment, South Korea since 2016.
