Ivan Contreras is a Ph.D. researcher at the UdG. He is focused on system optimization, data analytics, and predictive modeling in economics and healthcare. He has worked for five years as a research assistant at the IE Business School and the Complutense University of Madrid to optimize investment decisions in the stock market and forex. Since 2014, Ivan has been a leading member of the Modeling & Intelligent Control Engineering (Micelab) group, where he has been applying his expertise in developing machine learning techniques and their application for chronic diseases.
