Prof. Stanisław Kuciel is a graduate of the 1st Bartłomiej Nowodworski High School in Krakow and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Cracow University of Technology, where he completed studies in the field of Fundamental Problems of Technology. In 1998 he defended his doctoral thesis in the field of recycling in the field of Materials Engineering. He became a Professor at the Cracow University of Technology, Institute of Materials Engineering in 2018, and has been the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering PK since 2016. He is the author and co-author of over 250 publications and several domestic and foreign monographs devoted to the issues of testing mechanical properties under variable loads and recycling problems, polymer composites, biomaterials, and biocomposites. He was the manager of several projects in the fields of biomedical engineering, utilization of polymer waste and innovative biocomposites from renewable raw materials within the POIG.
