Associate Professor Dr. Zhifang LI has 20 years of experience in research and practices in integrated pest management (IPM) and soil fertility self-recovery in the field of systemic agricultural management in organic farming production and agricultural area pollution control: (i) crop rotation management for soil-borne disease control; (ii) procedures for phasing out methyl bromide in greenhouse cucumber production by solar soil sanitation and grafting; (iii) green manure and organic fertilization management on obstacles of continuous cropping of cucumber, including nematode control; (iv) soil fertility self-recovery by living mulch and organic fertilization; (v) soil organic fertilizer mineralization; and (vi) root rhizosphere characteristics and microbiological and chemical laboratory analysis.
