Torsten Brezesinski received his PhD in Physical Chemistry from the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces/University of Potsdam in 2005. After postdoctoral years spent at the University of California, Los Angeles, he joined the faculty of the Department of Biology and Chemistry at the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen in 2008. Since 2012, he is Laboratory Manager of the KIT/BASF SE joint laboratory for batteries and electrochemistry (BELLA) and Group Leader at the Institute of Nanotechnology (INT) of Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
