Prof. Dr. Susanne I. Wells received her BS in Biology from the University of Konstanz, Germany, in 1992 and her Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the State University of Stony Brook, NY, in 1997. She finished her Postdoctoral Fellowship in Molecular Virology at Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. She is Director of the Epithelial Carcinogenesis and Stem Cell Program and a Professor in the Division of Oncology, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Her research interests include cancer susceptibility, development, and progression, squamous cell carcinoma, proton therapy, pluripotent stem cells, and organ regeneration.
