Currently doing research on natural hazards mapping and risk assessment using multi-temporal/multi-source Remote Sensing data and machine learning algorithms. His core research interests are Object-Based Image Analysis (OBIA) and its integration with deep learning for mapping and object detection, also developing early warning systems for natural hazards.
