Prof. Zhang Xiaoxue is an associate professor at the College of Animal Science and Technology at Gansu Agriculture University. She is also a master’s supervisor. She received her Ph.D. in Animal Genetics Breeding and Reproduction from Lanzhou University in 2019. She received her Master’s in Animal Genetics Breeding and Reproduction from the Huazhong Agricultural University in 2010. Furthermore, she received the award of Gansu Province Outstanding Master’s Thesis Supervisor in 2023; she is a member of the Technical Expert Group of the Third National Livestock and Poultry Genetic Resources Survey of Gansu Province. Prof. Zhang Xiaoxue’s research focuses mainly on sheep molecular breeding and functional genomics.
