Dr Kalliopi Kousi is a lecturer in Chemical and Process Engineering in the University of Surrey. She received her degree in chemistry from the University of Patras, Greece, in 2011. She has an M.Res. (2013) and a Ph.D. (2016) on “Catalysis for Environmental Protection and Clean Energy Production” and has worked as postdoctoral research associate at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Patras and Newcastle University. Her research interest lies in new materials and structures for different catalytic applications, currently focusing on emergent nanomaterials for energy conversion processes.
