Dr. Nonni Soraya Sambudi currently works at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Universitas Pertamina, Indonesia. She obtained a Master's degree and a doctorate in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). Her research interests cover the synthesis of carbon quantum dots for drug delivery, polymer composite, adsorption, and photocatalytic processes. She has secured various research grants on the utilization of carbon quantum dots for photocatalytic removal of organic pollutants, and detection and adsorption of heavy metals in aquatic environments, as well as metal recovery using a membrane. She is also interested in the modification of carbon quantum dots through doping and functionalization to improve photocatalytic performance.
