Jaime Ribeiro Filho is a Pharmacist with a PhD in Immunopharmacology from the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz-RJ). He became a permanent researcher at the Gonçalo Moniz Institute (Fiocruz-BA), where he investigates new drug candidates for the treatment of inflammatory and infectious diseases. The most recent projects aim to investigate inflammatory mechanisms, as well as new drug candidates for the treatment of Sickle Cell Anemia. He has experience in preclinical research and immunopharmacology.
