Prof. Shih-Jung Liu is currently a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Chang Gung University of Taiwan. His research work deals with theoretical and experimental processing of biodegradable materials, drug delivery system, and tissue engineering. He is the author of more than 400 scientific publications, including 230 referred journal papers, editor and co-editor of 6 books, and the author of 15 patents. Prof. Liu is also serving as the Associate Editor for Journal of Biomedical Nanotechnology and Journal of Polymer Engineering, as well as the Guest Editor of Nanomaterials, Pharmaceutics, Journal of Funcational Biomaterials, Frontier in Bioengineering and Biotechnology, and several others.
