Prof. Dr. Sun Yeou Kim has been a Professor at the College of Pharmacy, Gachon University, Republic of Korea since 2012. Her research field is the derivation of diabetic complications control substances based on glucotoxicity, identification of new biologically active substances derived from natural products and study on efficacy. She obtained a Doctor of Herbal Medicine from the Seoul National University in 1996. From 1996 to 1997, she was a research civil servant/postdoctoral researcher at the Rural Development Administration Agricultural Science and Technology Institute, Sungkyunkwan University. She was a professor at the Graduate School of East-West Medical Science, Kyung Hee University from 1999 to 2012.
