Chengxu Zhou is a Professor at the Department of Marine Pharmacy at Ningbo University. She received her Master’s degree at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1993. She was an Associate Professor at Ningbo University from 2003 to 2016. She has 121 publications with 1643 citations and an h-index of 24 (Scopus, 31 December 2023). She is mostly working on marine microalgae covering several research topics: biomass and functional compounds applications; biology and ecophysiology; harmful algae and toxins; and mariculture ecology.
