Dr. Eric Chappel is a physicist and medical device expert specializing in innovative biosensing and drug delivery technologies. He holds an MSc from Université Grenoble Alpes and a PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from the French National High Magnetic Field Laboratory. He is the founder of Chappel Consulting and serves as Senior Project Manager at Xsensio, where he develops wearable biosensing devices. Previously, he was R&D Project Manager at Debiotech. His work focuses on advanced medical devices, including insulin micropumps, microneedles, implantable systems, and dialysis technologies. He is also a lecturer at HEPIA (HES-SO Geneva) and an expert for the European Commission.
