Bwalya Angel Witika is currently working as a senior lecturer at Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University (SMU). Before joining SMU, he was a lecturer at Rhodes University in Makhanda, South Africa, and prior to that, a lecturer at DDT College of Medicine in Gaborone, Botswana. Apart from academia, he has medical communications experience as he has worked as a medical writer for ApotheCom: A MEDiSTRAVA Company (Medical Division of Huntsworth), where he wrote various content for Pfizer and Merck. He is widely published in areas such as, but not limited, to nanoformulation, supramolecular complexes, and novel drug delivery systems in reputable peer-reviewed international journals. He holds a BPharm degree from The University of Zambia (Zambia) and an M.Sc. (Pharm) and Ph.D. from Rhodes University (RSA).
