Natalia Calonghi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy and Biotechnology, University of Bologna, Bologna (Italy). She received her MD  degree and her PhD degree in Biology and Molecular Pathology from the University of Parma. From 1998, she became a researcher in the Department of Biochemistry “G.Moruzzi”, University of Bologna. From 2012, she became an Associate Professor in Biochemistry, Department of Pharmacy and Biotechnology (FaBiT), Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. She is a member of the Italian Society of Biochemistry. Her research interests include colon cancer, 9-hydroxystearic acid, lipid peroxidation, histone deacetylase, and cell signalling.
