Dr. Moath Alatefi is an Industrial Engineering scholar specializing in quality engineering, multivariate statistical process control, process capability analysis, additive manufacturing, and Quality 4.0. He received his PhD in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University, where his doctoral research focused on developing multivariate quality control and process capability frameworks for fused deposition modeling additive manufacturing. His research integrates statistical modeling, response surface methodology, optimization, and data-driven monitoring to improve the quality and functionality of advanced manufacturing processes. Dr. Alatefi has published more than 20 peer-reviewed journal articles in reputable international journals and has experience in university teaching, curriculum development, ISO 9001 implementation, and Six Sigma training. He has received the Excellence in Research Award, Second Prize, from the College of Engineering at King Saud University. His current research interests include polymer-based additive manufacturing, composite materials, smart quality monitoring, and Industry 4.0 applications in manufacturing systems.
