Cristóbal de los Ríos is PhD in Chemistry (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, 2003). He did a postdoctoral stay at Colorado State University, under the supervision of Prof. Louis S. Hegedus. Back in Spain, he was awarded a "Juan de la Cierva" contract to work in drug R&D. Since 2011, he is group leader at Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria, Hospital de la Princesa, Madrid, devoted to the search of new drugs targeting innovative biological targets. He is the corresponding author of 20 papers and 5 patents, and PI of 5 research projects
