Dr. Anuj Ranjan is a Senior Researcher at Southern Federal University. He earned his M.Sc. in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics from SRM University, Chennai, India, in 2011 and his Ph.D. in Environment Science from Amity University, Noida, India, in 2017. He became an Associate Professor at Amity University in 2019 and continued his post-doctoral studies at Southern Federal University in 2021. His current research is focused on exploring the genetic basis of the function of PGPR bacteria, which are helpful in the solubilization of nutrients and alleviating soil and plant health by remediation of selected pollutants. He is also exploring selected probiotics' functions based on NRPS and PKS-producing genes/gene clusters.
