Prof. Lorenzo Rubio Arjona received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia, Spain, in 1996 and 2004, respectively. In 1996, he joined the Communications Department of the Universitat Politecnica de Valencia, where he is now a full professor of Wireless Communications. His main research interests include radio wave propagation, measurement and mobile time-varying channel modelling in vehicular applications, ultra-wideband communication systems, MIMO systems, and equalisation techniques in digital wireless systems. Dr. Rubio was awarded the Ericsson Mobile Communications Prize by the Spanish Association of Telecommunication Engineers for his study on urban statistical radio channel characterization applied to wireless communications.
