Prof. Dr. Joanna Janiszewska-Olszowska is a specialist in orthodontics and an Associate Professor at the Department of Interdisciplinary Dentistry, Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. She graduated from the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. She then completed her PhD in dentistry at the Department of Orthodontics, Pomeranian Medical Academy in Szczecin. She has published more than 80 articles in peer-reviewed journals with an h-index of 17 (Scopus, June 2024). Her research interests include the areas of orthodontics, dentistry, cleft lip and palate, craniofacial abnormalities, cephalometry, biomedical engineering, oral cancer, saliva, oral hygiene and oral surgery. Moreover, she is a reviewer for academic journals such as Angle Orthodontics, International Journal of Pediatric Dentistry, BMC Oral Health, International Journal of Dermatology, Pediatrics, Healthcare, Applied Science, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health and Cleft Palate Craniofacial Journal.
